Newbury Olympics Day

Not even the bitterly cold wind and icy temperatures could dampen the spirits on our Newbury Olympics Day. Students were divided into 8 different countries for the day starting off with a full opening ceremony before competing in a range of activities including indoor sports, team mascot design, sportswear design and dance.

It was a great day where our older and younger students worked alongside each other to compete and have fun. Everyone should be really proud of their effort, great attitude and sportsmanship.

Congratulations to Canada who took out the gold medal, Belarus the silver, and Spain and Cuba who shared the bronze.
